This Article is enacted in order to comply with California Civil Code section 2080.4. The provisions of this Article shall not apply to: (1) property subject to confiscation under the laws of the state or of the United States of America; (2) intentionally abandoned personal property; (3) property held as evidence; (4) animals; or (5) abandoned vehicles.
