Sec. 25-17.02. Authority to Designate Level I Reserve Officers.

The Chief of Police shall have the authority to select and appoint designated Level I reserve officers as provided in California Penal Code section 830.6(a)(2). Designated Level I reserve officers shall have the full powers and duties of a peace officer as provided in section 830.1 of the Penal Code. (Ord. 3632 § 2, 2020)
